The first company of the NAGÉV Group called NAGÉV Ipari, Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. was founded in 1991 by János Antal Nagy as a Hungarian company with sole proprietorship. In the 90s the owner was facing the problem that there was no plant with the adequate size and production capacity in East Hungary to dip galvanize steel structures, i.e. a facility suitable for anti-rust surface treatment.

altThus, a decision was made that they need to construct their own hot-dip galvanizing plant exceeding the size of the small galvanizing facility that has been in operation in Hajdúböszörmény for a long time. Therefore, the premises of a metal processing company under liquidation have been purchased in Tiszacsege, and in 1998 János Antal Nagy opened the biggest dip galvanizing plant in East Hungary.

Size of the dipping pot: 7.2 x 1.05 x 2.4 meters

The newest member of the NAGÉV group called NAGÉV CINK Kft. started to run a new production hall supplied with state-of-the-art technical equipment in the spring of 2011, within the industrial park of Ócsa, in the neighbourhood of Budapest.alt

 The country and the region gained an industrial hall equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art technology allowing the dip galvanization of steel structures of industrial sizes, solving the problem of the missing capacity of the country and the region. The dipping pot of the Ócsa plant allows to coat steel structures of 15 x 1.8 x 3 meters in dimension and 8 tons of weight.

The excellent service provided by the new plant is due to not only the size of the pot, but also the excellent technology level and the quality of the work done which represents the highest standard in Hungary and an outstanding level on the international market. The most important feature of the new hot-dip galvanizing facility of NAGÉV CINK Kft. is the optimized, computer controlled operation. The software and the monitoring system control the efficient operation of the equipment of highest standards used in logistics, energy-related issues, and environment protection. The plant uses the so-called zero waste technology, all materials used and by-products generated can be reused and recycled.

altThe treatment of the steel structure surfacesis conducted within a closed space (house in the house technique), the zinc bath is covered with a high-performance exhaust hood. The liquid zinc as the central element of the technology has been developed in the UK, it is a special alloy called Technigalva. Intelligent cranes and material handling systems ensure the transmission of products. The incoming vehicles find spacious storage, parking and recreation areas and a production hall with five sections including loading dock levels for trucks at their destination. Loading of goods is performed by using turning cranes with a forklift-type mechanism under radio control.

The company has played an important role in the Hungarian hot-dip galvanization industry, and has been an active member in the Association of Hungarian Hot-dip Galvanizers since the 1998.
